Restaurant

The restaurant offers you a broad variety of menus from traditional Saxon to international favourites. Each Saturday we also offer a special 10 course menu. During this meal, the Chef de Cuisine will serve different specialities from soup "Royale" to fine mocha coffee.

Beside the lobby there is an exhibition area, where you can get information about the near tourist sites. You can visit the historic Colditz Castle, which has a remarkably past as a prison for allied officers during World War 2. At the castle you can visit the Oflag IVC Escape Museum and learn more about some legendary escape attempts. In the exhibition there is also a 1:1 model of the Colditz Glider. One of the most famous prisoners was the British pilot Douglas Bader. During his stay in Colditz he took the opportunity to visit our restaurant.
